Maarten & Edward, both 18 years old (19/9/91 & 17/10/91), got addicted to electronic music at a very young age. Que sera, sera, so Funktion first saw daylight on the 22th of February 2008. Funktion, a DJ-Team never meant to be that popular as it is now.

After only 2 weeks of existence, they had to do a liveact at the MusiCafé in Louvain. It turned out very good (let us not call it outrageous), with much compliments from diverse persons.

After some more parties, they got themselves subscribed to a DJ-Contest from a, at that time, popular party organizing organisation (what a word...), Club Hacienda. They managed to get a fourth place, at the age of 16, only existing for 3 months!

They won a spot in the line-up of the Club Hacienda Ibiza Flight party, with Pat Krimson... They even got better and better with time, hard times, good times, normal times, cold times, warm times, music times, chill times, and any other not mentioned "times". Meanwhile, they played on various parties together with Pat Krimson, Sigi, DJ Dysfunkshunal, Enblanc, Houselife, Carlo, Le Bar Deux, DJ Mister T, DJ Bobby Ewing, Undefined, The Ditch, and many more...

The end of 2009 was some kind of a break due to a busy agenda in their personal lifes. But there they are again in februari 2010. 2 years after their foundation, they are back. Bringing you even more of the finest tunes you have ever heard!
